$4000 do you think they should give them $4000 worth of vouchers so that they can only buy stuff for the baby instead of for themselves
no I think the idea of the money is to not only buy baby goods (which most people buy before the baby arrives, therefore the bonus is not applicable) but to help with expenses needed for the family after the baby arrives and usually there is only 1 income coming in while the mother is off work.
Isn’t it paid in fortnightly installments over 6 months now anyway?
In my case we got $5000 when our last son was born and because he was our third baby and I didn’t need anything for him we used it to purchase a new lawn mower, a dryer and paid out our credit card. Can’t see anything wrong with using it for those things that we needed. When our first son was born we got $4000 and used it to pay bills as hubby’s work wasn’t going too well.
Not everyone abuses the privilege so don’t lump everyone into the same category.
I read that when you buy tickets being a part of team jonas in the presale, you get a discount. Does anyone know the percentage? Another thing, if I buy my tickets in the team jonas presale online, do I get them shipped to my house? Because I live outside of the U.S.
Uhmmm. It’s not a discount. It is the regular price. The good thing is that you get amazing seats cuz team jonas gets them first before anyone. Ohh. Team Jonas has nothing to do with the shipping. It’s through Ticketmaster and Livenation. I think you should call the company before it goes on sale for you.
I was wondering if there was any sites that detailed money saving vouchers for new york attractions and restaurants.
(for example we have moneysavingexpert.co.uk)
I dont want to pre pay but to print off some vouchers that i may use when i arrive.

My family and I are planning to get a disneyland annual pass. But of course, the economy sucks and the ticket prices have gone higher. How much discount does AAA Insurance give you for the pass, & how much additional discount do I get for being a southern California resident? And if I get the Annual pass, am I able to go to both parks? Any additional information is great, thank you!
AAA = no discount. They sell tickets for the same price as at the park.
SoCal resident = Southern California residents, you can buy either a Southern California Select or a Southern California Pass. The Select has 170 available days and is blocked at Halloween and Christmas. $184 each. The Southern California has 215 available days and is blocked at Halloween and Christmas. $239 each.
There are Annual Passes available that have even fewer blockout dates, but they are not discounted for SoCal residents. The Premium Pass has no blockout dates and includes parking. Yes, you can go Christmas and Halloween (but be aware that a separate ticket is needed to attend Mickey’s Halloween Treat Party at Disneyland.) $459 each. The Deluxe Pass has 315 available days. It is not blocked at Halloween but is blocked at Christmas. $329 each.
Yes, an Annual Pass functions like a Park Hopper and allows you to visit both Disneyland and California Adventure on the same day. Bear in mind that each person in your family over 2 years of age is required to have their own pass; there is no "family plan" or "family sharing" pass available.

My relative is going to start the Disney college program soon. Some family members wait to visit her later, does anyone know the discount rate for Disney world tickets for employees. I know that 3 people can get in with her for free..
Cast members get 3 entries per quarter and 12 per year for their friends and family members. They have to work there as a regular cast member (CR) for a month or so before they get their gate pass. They don’t give you a discount on tickets because they provide a certain number per quarter/year for free. The longer you work there the more entries per year you get and salaried employees, those such as managers, get even more entries per year. Cast members also get passes during the holidays to give to their friends or family members.
For shops like Topshop, River Island, New Look, H&M etc. Vouchers that give you 10% off or something, or things you enter at the checkout when buying online to give you a discount. Thanks in advance! ![]()
