Buying with intent to sell – Can I sell items I brought with discount vouchers / promotional codes?
I am considering starting an ebay business in the next few weeks. If I were to purchase goods from a genuine website. Lets say tesco.com, if tesco were doing a promotion (say 10% online discount) and I use this when buying stock. Is it still legal to sell this stock on ebay?

Unless there is something in your purchase agreement that prevents it, I don’t see why not. Buying low and selling high is the cornerstone of capitalism.

Buying with Discount Vouchers, such as those that can be found at sites such as http://www.latestdiscountvouchers.co.uk, are just another discount type in the same way that Buy One Get One Free offers are.

Although I haven’t seen this issue before when using discount codes for business purposes, I also haven’t resold any bulk items bought with discount vouchers so can’t be 100% certain.

You would be wise to check through the terms and conditions of sale, and of the voucher code, as it could be that that there are some specific exclusions for the business use of discount codes.
